Bring your own Twilio dialer: every sales calling tool that runs on your own Twilio account
Last updated September 3, 2026
You already have a Twilio account, or you have read the pricing page and worked out that ~$0.014/min is a tenth of what a bundled dialer seat charges for the same minutes. The question is which software will actually dial your list through it. The top results for this query are vendor pages and integration marketplaces that use "Twilio integration" to mean three different things. Below is the list we could verify, tool by tool, with how each one connects, whether it is a real power dialer, and what the software costs on top of Twilio.
The short answer
Fifteen tools connect to Twilio in some form; four of them are power dialers you can run on your own account without a server. DialSheet ($0 solo, $29 per 3 seats), Myphoner (~$27–59 a seat), Agile CRM (auto dialer, but telephony only on its ~$30+ tiers) and Twilio Flex (with a plugin and a developer). Vicidial does it self-hosted over a SIP trunk. GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Zoho and Bitrix24 place click-to-call through Twilio but do not dial a list. Close, Aircall, JustCall, Kixie and PhoneBurner do not run outbound on your Twilio at all. DialSheet is the only free one we found.
"Twilio integration" means three different things
Before the table, the distinction the listicles skip, because it decides whether a tool solves your problem:
- Credentials. You paste your Account SID and Auth Token and the software places calls through your account with the Voice SDK. Your numbers, your per-minute bill, your recordings. This is what "bring your own Twilio" should mean. DialSheet, Myphoner, Agile CRM, GoHighLevel, HubSpot Twilio Connect and the CRM add-ons work this way.
- SIP trunk. The software is a PBX or dialer that speaks SIP, and Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking is one carrier you can point it at, alongside any other. Vicidial and Bitrix24 work this way. It is cheaper per minute ($0.0100 US termination on Twilio's SIP trunking page, checked September 2026) and much more work to set up.
- Inbound forwarding only. Your carrier forwards calls that arrive on your number into the vendor over SIP, but every outbound call still runs on the vendor's telephony at the vendor's rate. Close's BYOC and Freshcaller's BYOC are this. If you searched for a dialer that uses your Twilio account, this is not it.
Tools that dial through a Twilio account you own
| Tool | Power dialer? | BYO Twilio how | Software price | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DialSheet | Yes: power dialer, parallel 2–4 lines on Pro | Paste Account SID + Auth Token in Settings, pick a number. ~10 min | $0 solo · $29/mo per 3 seats | Founders and small outbound teams who want the cheapest possible seat |
| Myphoner | Yes: power dialer on every plan | SID + Auth Token; it provisions a TwiML app in your account. Recording and voicemail drop need Myphoner Voice instead | ~$27–59/seat/mo | Lean list-calling teams already on Twilio |
| Agile CRM | List auto dialer (one contact after another) | Twilio credentials in CRM settings. Pricing table: 2-way telephony on Regular and Enterprise only; recording on Enterprise | ~$30–48/user/mo (free tier has no telephony) | Teams that want one all-in-one CRM and accept a dated UI |
| Nethram Auto Dialer for Twilio | Auto-dial in a Chrome softphone | Chrome extension linked to your Twilio account; ~30 s | ~$4.99/mo, 14-day trial | One person who wants click-to-call and SMS, no CRM |
| Twilio Flex | Click-to-call built in; preview dialer via a plugin you deploy | It is your Twilio account: Flex is a product inside it | $1/active user hr · $35/MAU + usage · $150/named user | Contact centres with a developer on staff |
| Vicidial / GoAutoDial | Yes: predictive and power, the original | Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking as a carrier in Asterisk ($0.0100/min US termination) | $0 self-hosted · VICIhost $400/server/mo + $1,000 setup | Call centres with a sysadmin |
| SuiteCRM + Outright Twilio dialer | Auto dialer add-on | Twilio credentials in the plugin; SuiteCRM self-hosted | ~$499 one-time ($999 AI version) | Existing SuiteCRM shops |
| Odoo Twilio Dialer | Auto dialer, click-to-call, recording | Your Twilio account and balance; Odoo app store module | ~$99 one-time + Odoo | Odoo users |
| GoHighLevel | No: single-line click-to-call | Agency Settings → Phone Integration, paste SID + token (LC Phone is the default) | $97 / $297 / $497 per month, unlimited users | Agencies already running GHL |
| HubSpot (Twilio Connect) | No: click-to-call from records and task queues | Twilio Connect on Sales/Service Hub Pro or Enterprise seats; outbound only, no inbound | ~$90–100/seat/mo Professional | Teams already paying for Sales Hub Pro |
| Zoho CRM | No: click-to-call | Twilio is still a PhoneBridge provider, but the direct Twilio extension is deprecated and Zoho steers you to Zoho Voice | ~$14–20/user/mo Standard and up | Zoho shops that already hold Twilio numbers |
| Bitrix24 | No: click-to-call and call automation | Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking through the SIP Connector; cloud Basic and up include telephony, self-hosted connector $49/mo | $49/mo (5 users) · $99/mo (50 users), annual | Teams that live in Bitrix24 |
| Freshcaller (Freshdesk Contact Center) | No: contact-centre phone | BYOC forwards any carrier over SIP into Freshworks’ Twilio domains; you do not need your own Twilio account | $0–69/agent/mo + per-minute fees | Support desks, not outbound sales |
Prices are published list prices checked on each vendor's pricing page or docs in September 2026 and rounded; Twilio usage is extra on all of them. Agile CRM's marketing pages say telephony is "free for 10 users", but its pricing comparison table ticks 2-way Telephony only for Regular and Enterprise and Call Recording only for Enterprise, so we have gone with the table. If a vendor changes its policy, the page you are reading will be wrong before it is updated; check the source.
The dialers people ask about that do not
| Tool | Why it is not BYO Twilio | Seat price |
|---|---|---|
| Close | BYOC is inbound-only SIP forwarding; outbound always uses Close’s network | ~$99–139/user/mo |
| Aircall | Aircall is the carrier; no BYOC | ~$30–50/user/mo |
| JustCall | JustCall is the carrier; no BYOC | ~$19–89/user/mo |
| Kixie | Kixie is the carrier; minutes often metered on top | ~$35–65/user/mo |
| PhoneBurner | Bundled unlimited dialing; no BYOC | ~$149–169/user/mo |
| Orum / Nooks | Managed parallel dialers on their own telephony | ~$100–300/user/mo |
| Pipedrive | Retired its built-in caller; you add a third-party dialer with its own carrier | ~$14+/user/mo CRM + a dialer |
None of this makes them bad tools. Several of them run on Twilio underneath; they simply resell it inside the seat. What you lose is the number if you leave, the wholesale rate, and the ability to register STIR/SHAKEN and caller-ID name under your own business rather than a shared pool. Full comparisons: Close, Aircall, JustCall, Kixie, PhoneBurner.
What the software costs once Twilio is the same for everyone
The point of bringing your own Twilio is that the telephony line is identical whichever tool you pick: ~$0.014/min US outbound plus ~$1.15/month per number, billed by Twilio. So the comparison collapses to the software line. Below, one rep and three reps at 1,000 billed minutes each per month, which is a full-time cold caller (see how many minutes cold calling uses).
1 rep: Twilio usage ≈ $15/month on every row
| Software | Software / mo | Total with Twilio | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| DialSheet Free | $0 | $15 | ≤500 calls/mo |
| DialSheet Pro | $29 | $44 | $29 per 3 seats |
| Nethram extension | $5 | $20 | no CRM |
| Myphoner Basic | $27 | $42 | per seat |
| Agile CRM Regular | $30 | $45 | per user, no recording |
| GoHighLevel Starter | $97 | $112 | flat, click-to-call only |
| Twilio Flex named user | $150 | $165 | per user, plus a developer |
3 reps: Twilio usage ≈ $45/month on every row
| Software | Software / mo | Total with Twilio | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| DialSheet Free | — | n/a | one seat only |
| DialSheet Pro | $29 | $74 | $29 per 3 seats |
| Nethram extension | $15 | $60 | no CRM |
| Myphoner Basic | $81 | $126 | per seat |
| Agile CRM Regular | $90 | $135 | per user, no recording |
| GoHighLevel Starter | $97 | $142 | flat, click-to-call only |
| Twilio Flex named user | $450 | $495 | per user, plus a developer |
DialSheet Free is one seat and 500 calls a month, so a full-time caller lands on Pro; a part-timer under500 dials pays nothing for software. Browser-based dialers, including DialSheet and Myphoner, also bill Twilio's browser leg at $0.0040 a minute while connected, which is covered line by line in Twilio cold calling cost. Competitor figures are list prices, checked September 2026.
How to pick
- You want to dial a list this afternoon, no server, no developer: DialSheet or Myphoner. DialSheet is free for one person; Myphoner charges per seat but is a mature product with its own voice option.
- You already live in a CRM: Agile (Regular tier or above), GoHighLevel, Zoho or Bitrix24 will click-to-call through your Twilio. None of them auto-advance through a list, so a rep making 100 dials a day will feel it.
- You have a developer and want a contact centre: Twilio Flex, with the preview-dialer plugin. Budget the implementation, not just the licence.
- You run a call floor with a sysadmin: Vicidial over Twilio SIP trunking. Cheapest per minute, most work per month.
- You want a bundled number and are happy to pay per seat: any of the second table, and stop reading pages about Twilio.
Where DialSheet sits, honestly
DialSheet is the only free power dialer we could find that is built around your own Twilio account with no per-user fee. The free plan is one person, 500 leads and 500 calls a month, no card; it includes the auto-advance dialer, CSV import with column mapping, dispositions, callbacks, tags and a DNC suppression list. Pro is $29 a month per 3 seats and adds in-app recordings (stored in your Twilio), transcription and AI summaries, a 2–4 line parallel dialer, email sequences and local-presence rotation. Connecting takes about ten minutes including the Twilio signup: paste the SID and token, buy or pick a number, import a sheet.
What it is not: a contact centre (no IVR trees, no queues for inbound support), not self-hosted, and not a general CRM with marketing automation the way Agile or GoHighLevel are. Myphoner is the closest like-for-like and is worth a look if you want a vendor that has been around longer. And if you truly never want a Twilio account, there is a $49 managed line; see own Twilio vs managed line.

Connect your TwilioQuestions people actually ask
Which power dialers let me use my own Twilio account?
As of September 2026 the list of tools that both dial a list automatically and run on a Twilio account you own is short: DialSheet (free for one person, $29 a month per 3 seats for teams), Myphoner (about $27 to $59 a seat a month, power dialer on every plan), Agile CRM (list auto dialer, but two-way telephony is only on its Regular and Enterprise tiers at about $30 to $48 a user), and self-hosted options such as Vicidial over a Twilio SIP trunk or the Twilio dialer add-ons for SuiteCRM and Odoo. Twilio Flex can preview-dial with a plugin you deploy yourself. GoHighLevel, Zoho, Bitrix24 and HubSpot connect to Twilio but only offer click-to-call, not a power dialer.
Does HubSpot let me bring my own Twilio account?
Partly. HubSpot has an option called Twilio Connect for users with a Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise seat (about $90 to $100 a seat a month, list price, checked September 2026). It links a Twilio account so outbound calls from HubSpot are placed and billed through that Twilio project instead of HubSpot-provided numbers. Its own documentation says inbound calls are not supported through Twilio Connect, and HubSpot has no power dialer either way: you click each number from a record or a task queue. So HubSpot can run on your Twilio, but it is not a bring-your-own-Twilio power dialer, and the Starter tier and free CRM cannot do it at all.
Can Close, Aircall, JustCall or Kixie run on my Twilio account?
No, not for outbound dialing. Close documents a bring-your-own-carrier option, but it is inbound-only: your carrier forwards incoming calls to Close over SIP, while every outbound call still goes through Close's own telephony at Close's rates. Aircall, JustCall, Kixie, PhoneBurner, Orum and Nooks are the carrier themselves; you buy numbers and minutes from them as part of the seat. That is the trade: a bundled number is simpler, but you cannot take it to another tool, you pay their per-minute rate rather than Twilio's, and the seat price (roughly $30 to $300 a user a month across those vendors) includes telephony you might already own.
Is Twilio Flex a power dialer?
Not out of the box. Flex is a contact-centre platform that runs inside your own Twilio account, so it is the purest form of bring-your-own-Twilio. It ships with a dialpad for click-to-call; list-based preview dialing comes from a solutions-library plugin (a CSV upload plus TaskRouter tasks) that a developer deploys and maintains. Twilio's Flex pricing page, checked September 2026, lists $1 per active user hour, a $35 per monthly active user plus usage plan, or $150 per named user a month, with 5,000 free active user hours to start. All voice minutes, numbers and recordings are metered on top. For a three-person sales team that is a lot of platform for a preview dialer.
Is Vicidial free if I use Twilio as the carrier?
The software is free and open source, and Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking (US termination $0.0100 a minute, checked September 2026) can be configured as a carrier in Vicidial's Asterisk setup. What is not free is the server and the person who runs it: you install and maintain a Linux box, configure the SIP peer and dialplan by hand, and handle security and upgrades yourself. Official hosting (VICIhost) is quoted at $400 a month per server after a $1,000 setup. Vicidial is a full predictive dialer built for call centres; for a small sales team it is usually more machine than the job needs.
Why would I want a dialer that uses my own Twilio account?
Four reasons. Price: Twilio bills about ~$0.014/min for US outbound and ~$1.15/month per local number, so a rep who talks for 1,000 minutes a month costs around $15 in telephony instead of a $30 to $150 seat that bundles it. Ownership: the numbers, recordings and call logs live in your account, so switching software never means losing your caller ID. Reach: Twilio sells numbers in most countries, where bundled dialers are often US-only. Control: STIR/SHAKEN attestation, caller-ID name and spam remediation are registered under your business, not a vendor's shared pool.
Is there a free dialer that connects to my Twilio account?
DialSheet is the only free power dialer we could find that is built around your own Twilio account with no per-user fee. The free plan is one person, up to 500 leads and 500 calls a month, no card, and it includes the auto-advance dialer, CSV import, dispositions and callbacks; teams pay $29 a month per 3 seats. The closest alternatives are Nethram's Chrome extension at about $4.99 a month (a softphone with auto-dial, not a CRM) and Agile CRM, whose free tier has the CRM but, per its own pricing table, not the telephony.
