Power dialer for a 50-person dealership BDC
Last updated 27 August 2026
Short answer
A 50-person dealership BDC on DialSheet pays $493 a month for software (17 three-seat packs at $29) plus roughly $1,116 of usage billed by its own Twilio account — about $1,609 a month all in, or $19,308 a year, which works out at $0.013 per dial across roughly 126,000 dials a month. The same 50 seats on RingCentral cost about $1,000 a month in licence fees alone, before telephony.
A dealership BDC is measured on speed to lead and show rate, and the lists are mostly warm — internet enquiries, unsold showroom visitors, and customers due for service — which is why connect rates here run far higher than cold trades. DialSheet is free up to 500 leads and $29/month per three-seat pack after, with calls at roughly $0.014 a minute on your own Twilio. An eight-agent BDC is $87 a month in software and about $60 in telephony.
The numbers for 50 reps
- Software, per month
- $493 (17 × 3-seat pack)
- Twilio, per month
- ≈ $1,116
- All-in monthly

- All-in yearly

- Dials per month
- 126,000
- Cost per dial
- $0.013
Assumes 120 dials per rep per working day, a 20% connect rate and 3-minute average conversations over 21 working days — working estimates for BDC agents on a power dialer, not a quote. Telephony is billed to your own Twilio account at ~$0.014/min plus ~$1.15/month per number.
Why the usual dialers misprice BDC agents
Dealership software is sold in bundles at dealership prices, and the calling module is rarely the strongest part of the bundle. A BDC that just wants to dial its lead list quickly and log the outcome is paying enterprise DMS-adjacent pricing for it.
What 50 seats costs elsewhere
List prices as of August 2026 for the tools a large dealership BDC actually shortlists. Per-user figures are approximate and several vendors quote rather than publish.
| Tool | Per user | 50 seats/mo | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| DialSheet | $9.67 effective | $493 | you connect your own Twilio and pay carrier rates |
| RingCentral | ~$20–45/user/mo | $1,000–$2,250 | a business phone system rather than an outbound sales dialer |
| Aircall | ~$30–50/user/mo | $1,500–$2,500 | seat minimums apply and the power dialer needs the Professional tier |
| Close | ~$99–139/user/mo | $4,950–$6,950 | you buy an entire CRM suite to get the calling |
| Salesloft | ~$100+/user/mo (quote-based) | $5,000–$8,250 | the dialer is one module of a sales-engagement suite on an annual contract |
| Outreach | ~$100+/user/mo (quote-based) | $5,000–$9,000 | enterprise sales-engagement pricing with an annual commitment |
Against RingCentral at list price, a 50-seat dealership BDC on DialSheet Pro saves roughly $6,084 a year in software — about 2× the licence cost — before adding your Twilio usage of roughly $13,392 annually.
How BDC agents actually run it
The list is internet leads, unsold ups and service-due lists; the scoreboard is appointments set. This is the loop between them.
01Call internet leads within minutes
Speed to lead decides show rate. Push new enquiries in through the REST API and dial newest-first, with the enquiry detail — vehicle, trade, source — visible as custom fields on the call screen.
02Work the unsold list before it goes cold
Yesterday's showroom traffic that did not buy is the highest-intent list in the building. Tag by visit date and salesperson, filter to unsold within seven days, and dial it as a daily session.
03Run service and equity campaigns from the same database
Service-due and equity-mining lists are just filters over customer records with the right tags. One system covers sales BDC and service BDC without a second licence.
Running 50 BDC agents rather than three
At 50 seats the problem stops being cost and starts being visibility. The team leaderboard shows dials, connects, connect rate, conversations and talk time per rep over 7-day, 30-day and custom ranges, and exports to CSV for your own reporting. Each rep can hold a dedicated Twilio number so callbacks reach the person who made the call, and leads are either assigned per rep or worked from a shared pool. On Pro, recorded calls are transcribed and graded against a call script you define, which turns “why is that rep behind” into a per-checkpoint answer instead of a hunch.
Seats stay in 3-seat packs at $29 a month, so growing from 50 to 56 costs $58 more per month — not $120 more, which is what the same six people cost on a per-user plan.
Existing customers and cold prospects are different
Calls to existing customers about a vehicle they bought or a service due sit on different footing from cold prospecting, but the exemptions around established business relationships are narrower and more time-bound than dealerships often assume — and the TCPA applies to automated calls and texts to mobile numbers regardless. Scrub cold lists against the Do Not Call Registry and honour opt-outs across sales and service. Orientation only.
Questions BDC agents ask
What does a dialer cost for a dealership BDC?
Eight agents is $87 a month on DialSheet — three three-seat packs at $29 — plus roughly $60 of Twilio usage. Comparable per-seat platforms at $99 a user are $792 a month for the same team.
Can it call internet leads automatically as they arrive?
Leads can be pushed in through the REST API the moment they arrive and dialed newest-first. There is no automatic outbound trigger — an agent still initiates the call, which is generally what you want for TCPA reasons anyway.
Does it work for service BDC as well as sales?
Yes. Service-due and equity lists are tags and filters over the same customer database, so both desks run in one account without a second licence.
Will it integrate with our DMS or CRM?
Through the REST API, MCP server and CSV import/export. There are no pre-built DMS connectors, so expect a small integration rather than a native plug-in.
