Twilio cold calling cost calculator

What a team's calls cost on Twilio at your dial volume, with the two lines other calculators skip: the browser leg that bills ringing time, and the whole minute every voicemail pickup costs. Then the same team on DialSheet, on a managed line, and on the per-seat dialers. Runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

Rates from Twilio's US list prices: ~$0.014/min carrier leg, $0.004/min browser leg, ~$1.15/month per number. Every answered call rounds up to a whole minute. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Competitor rows use each vendor's published or reported per-seat range from our comparison corpus, before add-ons, taxes and any seat minimum; several bundle US minutes, which is why the DialSheet row adds telephony to be comparable. The managed line assumes one line per 3 reps sharing 1,500 minutes and a 400-dial daily cap per line.

How to read it

  • Billed minutes are what the carrier charges: talk time plus one minute per voicemail pickup, each call rounded up.
  • Browser-leg minutes are higher than billed minutes because the browser leg runs while the phone is ringing, whether or not anyone answers.
  • The per-seat rows are list ranges before add-ons and minimums. Aircall's smallest account is three licences; Orum and Nooks are not on the list because they do not publish prices at all.
  • Bundled minutes on a per-seat dialer beat metered Twilio only at several thousand billed minutes a seat a month; move the dials slider to 300 and the talk time to 10 to see where that happens.

The rates behind every figure are the same ones used across this site's cost pages, so the calculator and the guides cannot disagree. Line-item SKU prices are in Twilio cold calling cost; the minute maths is explained in how many minutes does cold calling use.

Questions people actually ask

How is the Twilio bill calculated?

Two legs per browser call. The carrier leg bills ~$0.014/min once the prospect or their voicemail answers, rounded up to a whole minute per call, so every voicemail pickup costs a full minute. The browser leg bills $0.004 a minute from the moment you press dial, so unanswered rings count too; the calculator adds one browser-leg minute per unanswered dial. Numbers are ~$1.15/month each. Dials × (voicemail share × 1 minute + connect share × talk minutes) × working days gives billed minutes per rep.

Why is the voicemail line so large?

Because carriers round every answered call up to a whole minute and a voicemail greeting answers. At 150 dials a day with a quarter reaching voicemail, that is about 37 billed minutes a day for calls you hung up on in ten seconds, often more than the minutes spent talking to people. Every other calculator on the internet skips this line, which is why their estimates run low.

What does the DialSheet row include?

Software plus the Twilio bill above. DialSheet is free for one person up to 500 calls a month and $29 a month per 3-seat pack on Pro, which includes the parallel dialer, recordings, transcripts and AI coaching. The managed-line row is for teams that do not want a Twilio account: $49/month per line for a local number, 1,500 minutes and Pro for 3 people, with top-ups of 1,000 minutes at $25 and a 400-dial daily cap per line.

Are the competitor prices accurate?

They are the published or reported per-seat ranges from our comparison corpus, checked against vendor pages on a rotation and dated on each comparison page. They exclude add-ons, taxes and seat minimums (Aircall's three-licence floor, for example), and several vendors bundle US minutes into the seat, which is why the DialSheet row adds telephony so the columns are comparable.
